One morning I was mowing the field down by the pond. Now remember, you never go down to the pond alone because that’s where the coyotes live. I knew I would be alright though, Old Fergie was with me.
I was mowing along and looked up and saw two big coyotes peeking out of the bushes at me. They were afraid of the noise from the tractor and they were waiting for me to get down. I knew better than that though, and Old Fergie kept chugging along.
Old Fergie and I kept mowing down the hill and around the corner in low gear. Just then those big coyotes popped out of the bushes next to me! I guess they must have gotten tired of waiting. They huffed and they puffed and they blew the hair right off the top of my head! Can you even imagine? I kicked Old Fergie into high gear and we took off back to the house. Old Fergie really moved fast that day!
